After declaring 2015 the year of happiness, Kipling celebrated with a party in New York City featuring pink champagne, flowers and a performance by MisterWives – the happiest band ever. Personally, anything that involves pink champagne makes me happy. So pink champagne garnished with pink rose petals made me even happier. Thank you Kipling for an amazing time!

It’s Valentine’s Day and I’m so thankful for all the love I’m feeling. Last night my boyfriend surprised me with roses and champagne. I’m so happy to have him in my life and thankful for all the ways we make each other better people. On top of all the romance, I’m ecstatic to have the love of my family, friends and readers. I’ve never understood gardening as a hobby. I just can’t seem to fathom why someone would touch dirt on purpose even with gloves. However, as I began paying more attention to detail on my walks through the city, I realized the beauty of the small urban garden. Suddenly, the floral colors began to jump out at me and I started to look forward to passing familiar flowers and watching them bloom throughout the season. These are just a few of my favorite city gardens found in my neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen along with Meatpacking and the Upper East Side.
Would I consider gardening now? I think not. I prefer when other people do it.

Whether you’re single or taken, Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to celebrate your love of fashion, pink hearts, and radiant red lipstick. It’s also a great time of year to either get sent or send yourself a lovely bouquet of flowers. That is of course if you even remember it’s Valentine’s Day in between viewing the latest Fall Collections at New York Fashion Week which runs from Feb. 7th-14th.
