Though it still doesn’t feel much like spring in NYC, the season is in full bloom in the store windows with florals, sundresses and bright colors. As much as I love my over the knee boots, I simply can’t wait to trade them in for a pastel pair of heels or some strappy sandals. Whether you’re in the market for a spring neutral or something a little bolder, here are a few of my favorites:

I’ve never understood gardening as a hobby. I just can’t seem to fathom why someone would touch dirt on purpose even with gloves. However, as I began paying more attention to detail on my walks through the city, I realized the beauty of the small urban garden. Suddenly, the floral colors began to jump out at me and I started to look forward to passing familiar flowers and watching them bloom throughout the season. These are just a few of my favorite city gardens found in my neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen along with Meatpacking and the Upper East Side.
Would I consider gardening now? I think not. I prefer when other people do it.
