Lately, I’ve been fascinated by the newly iconic X Ring. Though it has nothing to do with X-Men or The X-Files, its fabulousness is totally out of this world. Whether you’re on your way to a black tie event or getting crazy at a music festival, the X Ring’s sleek and modern design is sure to be the perfect addition to your outfit.
While the price differences between fine jewelry and costume jewelry tend to be drastic, you can rock a shimmering X Ring no matter what your budget may be.
During Fashion Week, I was invited to the Kendra Scott showroom to see her latest jewelry collections. I’ve long been a fan of her sophisticated and feminine statement pieces that always seem to have a touch of fun. It was an honor to stop by and see her newest collections inspired by Palm Springs and Mexico.
During New York Fashion Week, I was invited to Kendra Scott’s showroom to see her signature, fall and winter collections. I was fascinated to learn that Kendra Scott first launched her jewelry line in 2002 with just $500. Today, the Austin-based designer known for her customizable pieces is selling off the shelves at premiere retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s and over 600 specialty boutiques. She also has 17 stores of her own across the south.
Throughout the evolution of her design, her pieces have become smaller and more stackable – allowing you to wear many at once. I was quite taken by her winter starstruck collection inspired by celestial glamour and constellations. It will make the perfect addition to any holiday dress.
Halloween may be a fun excuse to dress up as something else and watch horror films, however, in actually aspiring to greatness is all about faking it until you make it. If there is anything I have learned in my first year residing in NYC, it is that this is a city of perception not of reality. So, here everyday is Halloween. In honor of this glamorous All Hallows Eve, I will be giving away this elegant string of pearls with removable ribbon compliments of MONET to a fellow aspiring socialite. If you haven’t noticed already, this necklace is the perfect accessory for any Halloween costume, particularity a flapper. To win, send a tweet to @Aspiresocialite or leave a comment on this post (include your email address) telling me what you are going to be for Halloween.
Ever since it’s founding in 1929, MONET has been the leader in costume jewelry. Their impeccable craftsmanship never ceases to have a vintage feel. MONET has a collection for every month each named after a song. This string of pearls is from the Piano Man collection. Be sure to check out MONET’s Online Shop up just in time for the holidays.
