Socialite Stuff: A Passport to Paris

I love jet setting.  I’ve never actually done it, but I know it would be love at first flight. As I spend most of my free time wandering the streets of Manhattan on my long, yet incredibly rewarding journey to socialite fame, I find myself in need of a fragrance to match my Empire State Building-sized aspirations. Inspired by the socialite hot spots of Paris, South Beach, and Tokyo, these fragrances have some of the cutest packaging I have ever seen.  The trio retails individually at $45 for a 3.4 oz. Eau de Toilette and $25 a 1.0-oz bottle.  Thanks to Paris Hilton’s new fragrance, Passport, not only can you look like a socialite, you can smell like one too.

I am 15-years-old in my passport picture and it brings back a lot of memories. Even if I’m not going on a trip, I like to take it out once in a while just to prove to myself that I could get up and leave at a moment’s notice if I wanted to.  What can I say?  I like to travel.  Since I am half Venezuelan, maybe I should call my first fragrance Caracas after the capital city.  After Barbara Walters was mean to her on The View and low ratings on her new reality show, The World According to Paris, Paris Hilton hasn’t had that great week.  So I hope this post brightens up her day a bit.

The World According to Paris

It is no surprise that world-famous hotel heiress, Paris Hilton, is returning once again to reality TV. The blonde beauty who is the undisputed inspiration behind this blog still reigns as reality royalty. Aspiring Socialites everywhere are awaiting the premiere of The World According to Paris on Oxygen on June 1st at 10 p.m. The show will feature her relationship with longtime boyfriend Cy Waits and numerous other socialite style adventures about which Paris commented to TV Guide Magazine at the Hollywood premiere party on May 17th, “God, I cannot believe I’m going to allow this on television.”

Though you will get a taste of Paris’ outrageous jet-setting life, this docu-series goes deeper into the woman behind all of the glamour, A-list parties, and celebrity red carpet events. Like Paris, I am constantly rediscovering who I am and what I can achieve both as a party girl and businesswoman. Though she is still the fun-loving Paris we all know, love, and are inspired by, the socialite is opening up to the world as she creates a new life for herself. In this all-access glimpse into the world of one of the most unconventional global celebrities, Paris proves to all of us that even for the girl who has everything, the most important things in life are family and friends. As I wait with great anticipation for this show to begin, I have become even more thankful for my own family and friends along with my fans and Twitter followers all of which never cease to see me as a socialite.
