Travel Aspirations

Travel Dream Vacation

One of the biggest things I’ve always admired about socialites is their ability to travel. From summers in Ibiza to winters in Aspen, socialites love to see and experience the world in style. When you’re spending half your income on New York City rent, the prospect of jet-setting around the world quickly goes out the window. This year, my boyfriend and I decided to really buckle down and save money for a trip to Europe. Should all go well, we’ll fly across the Atlantic in summer 2015.

Saving money has never been my forte. But, now that I’m saving for something exciting, I might be more inclined to put away a few dollars for a rainy day (in London that is.) Wish me luck!

Socialite Stuff: A Passport to Paris

I love jet setting.  I’ve never actually done it, but I know it would be love at first flight. As I spend most of my free time wandering the streets of Manhattan on my long, yet incredibly rewarding journey to socialite fame, I find myself in need of a fragrance to match my Empire State Building-sized aspirations. Inspired by the socialite hot spots of Paris, South Beach, and Tokyo, these fragrances have some of the cutest packaging I have ever seen.  The trio retails individually at $45 for a 3.4 oz. Eau de Toilette and $25 a 1.0-oz bottle.  Thanks to Paris Hilton’s new fragrance, Passport, not only can you look like a socialite, you can smell like one too.

I am 15-years-old in my passport picture and it brings back a lot of memories. Even if I’m not going on a trip, I like to take it out once in a while just to prove to myself that I could get up and leave at a moment’s notice if I wanted to.  What can I say?  I like to travel.  Since I am half Venezuelan, maybe I should call my first fragrance Caracas after the capital city.  After Barbara Walters was mean to her on The View and low ratings on her new reality show, The World According to Paris, Paris Hilton hasn’t had that great week.  So I hope this post brightens up her day a bit.
