Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

My mom and I are super close so I couldn’t be happier that Mother’s Day is upon us.  Sometimes I have no idea how I’d survive my crazy life here in New York without those late night phone calls I make to her almost nightly where I’m able to get all my problems off my chest.  It’s amazing how one simple phone call can always make me believe that tomorrow is another day.  Thanks mom for always supporting me in my dream to live like a New York City socialite!

Here are my top gift picks for Mother’s Day 2012:

1.  C’est La Vie Metal Bangle: A love between a mother and child is unlike any other.  This bracelet is a reminder of that.  Engraved are not only the words “I love you,” but “C’est La Vie – Whatever will be will be.”  I don’t know about you, but my mom always reminds me of that.

2.  Dear Mom Book: These books with adorable and inspiring pictures and quotes always make me cry.  It’s kind of embarrassing when it happens in the middle of the bookstore.  But, I’m sure it will make your mom cry too.

3.  Love Chloe Perfume: As one of my all time favorite fragrances, I highly recommend giving your mother some Love this Mother’s Day.

4.  Dian Malouf Mom Ring: This sweet rustic ring is a cute accessory for mom in engraved sterling silver.

5.  Tory Burch Cosmetics Case: If it’s Tory Burch, you may want to get one for you too.

6.  Cynthia H Designs Unconditional Love Bracelet: Your mother loves you unconditionally and now she can wear her heart on her sleeve.

7.  DVF Alexandra Oversized Sunglasses: As a child, your mom always made sure you were safe from the harsh rays of the sun by making you wear sunscreen.  Now, you can do the same for her as you protect her from the sun and the perils of wearing non-designer sunglasses.

Thank you for such a nice Mother’s Day article! Keep up the nice work! TQM, M

  • What did you end up getting your mom? I ordered a Lululemon outfit for my mom – she is in LOVE with Zumba classes!

    • Lululemon is awesome! Great gift. I sent my mom a card, but I’ll probably take her shopping next time she’s in New York.
