It’s that time of year again! The time when high school and college grads look back on the past and celebrate a hopeful future. But, what do you wear when attending these fabulous functions? Whether you’re dawning a cap and gown or in the crowd sitting through an endless list of names, graduation apparel should be both dressy and conservative. Save your jeans, short skirts, and revealing tops for another summer occasion. A sundress or your favorite spring work dress should do the trick. For my cousin’s graduation this year, I’m pulling a Kate Middleton and wearing the same dress I wore two years ago to my sister’s graduation.
Now that you have the perfect (perhaps recycled) outfit, you’ve got to get the lucky grad a gift. You can never go wrong when you give cash or a check. At least, that’s what I always wanted for my graduations.
