Jane By Design Style Challenge | Aspiring Socialite

Just call me “Vicky by Design!” As my first task for the ABC Family Jane By Design Style Challenge, I was instructed by the lovely Gray Chandler Murray of Donovan Decker to show off my style and personality by making my very own shopping video haul. For the video, I was given a $50 gift card to go shopping for fun styles. I bought a vintage vest and a pair a black boots to add to styles already in my wardrobe. After days of blood, sweat, fashion, and creativity I went all out and put together two versions of the same outfit based on what I was wearing when I met Erica Dasher, the star of Jane By Design, at a Lucky Magazine party in New York. I’m so honored and excited to announce that I’ve been chosen as one of the bloggers participating in ABC Family’s Jane By Design Style Challenge! Over the next several weeks, I’ll be receiving challenges every Tuesday and Friday from the fictional no excuses fashion maven Gray Chandler Murray of the fashion house, Donovan Decker. When she doesn’t feel like addressing me directly, I’ll be hearing from her assistant, Jane.

This evening, I received a tastefully decorated Jane By Design trunk filled with cryptic items each corresponding to a different task. The contents of the trunk are a bit reminiscent of ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars because this is totally something “A” would do. The mystery of this all kind of makes me feel like I’m pledging a sorority all over again with Gray Chandler Murray as my pledge mom. The fashion of it all makes me feel a bit like being Anne Hathaway’s character in The Devil Wears Prada. I’m determined to win over the house of Donovan Decker and have my blog mentioned on the show.
