I got engaged in December and my Fall 2018 wedding is slowly beginning to come together. Weddings are beautiful. But, as us brides-to-be quickly learn, there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes that sometimes isn’t so pretty. Luckily, building your wedding website doesn’t have to be one of them. With GoDaddy you can create a stunning wedding website in under an hour – no programming or coding experience needed.
GoDaddy’s GoCentral platform makes it easy for couples to build a professional-looking website quickly and seamlessly. So they can get back to wedding planning. While weddings are often over in a flash, a good wedding website can help build anticipation in the months leading up to the big day. Aside from entertaining guests, wedding websites help keep guests informed on everything from your registry to hotel reservations.
GoDaddy has everything you need to keep your wedding organized and your guests informed. Couples can conveniently collect RSVPs through a contact form, easily provide maps and directions to the wedding, put together a photo gallery, share hotel deals, bridal party bios, links to their registries and much more. There’s even an email subscription feature where guests can sign up for email updates. The website is mobile-friendly, making it easy to keep guests updated up until the day of the wedding. Tech-savvy couples can also use their wedding website to share hashtags, Snapchat filters and Spotify playlists.
I love being in front of the camera, but my fiance doesn’t. So when I started building our wedding website, the feature I found most helpful was GoDaddy‘s collection of beautiful stock photos. I also loved how easy it was to share the story of our engagement and how we met. Once we’ve officially booked our venue and set a date I’ll update our site with the event details and set it live. I also plan on adding our engagement photos once we do a shoot. No matter what you decide to include on your wedding website, GoDaddy makes it fun and easy to create as a couple.
