A Great Cause and Great View with Origins at The James Hotel

Last week, I attended the It’s Smart To Do Good Origins Event hosted by Emmy Rossum benefiting charity: water. Origins has a long heritage of giving back to the earth and combining beauty and brains. So when I heard that Origins and their Smarty Plants CC Cream were teaming up with charity: water to correct the global water crisis in Ethiopia, I was immediately intrigued.

Standing on the rooftop of the JIMMY at The James Hotel penthouse, I got caught up in the breathtaking views of Manhattan at sunset. However, when I heard more about the water crisis, it opened my eyes even more as I became deeply aware of how privileged I have been to have what seems like unlimited access to clean water while so much of the world struggles for it.
