Macy’s has announced it’s newest designer collaboration for Macy’s Impulse with Giambattista Valli. Since I usually get to see collections before they come out, last week, I attended a preview party at Villa Pacri in the fashionable Meatpacking District.

This line of New Year’s Eve style dresses and separates is set to hit stores Oct. 26th. While the separates are priced at $50-$75, the dresses will be going for no more than $150 so Giambattista Valli’s Macy’s line fits the Impulse manta of affordability perfectly. Here are some of my favorite pieces that I took while drinking free champagne among some of today’s most elite fashion editors and stylist. I’d love to hear your opinion on this line.
