One thing I like most about Beyonce’s new Ivy Park fitness line is the prevalence of the number 4. Like Beyonce I was born on September 4th. For my fellow Virgo Queen Bey, 4 has been a significant number throughout her life and her daughter’s name Blue Ivy is a reference to the Roman numeral IV which means 4. While I’ve never met Beyonce in real life, I feel a special connection to her through our birthdays and now through this fitness line.
For most people a holiday stroll consists of walking around the neighborhood and looking at everyone’s Christmas lights. But for me it consists of walking around Central Park West in a Red Vinyl Check Swing Coat reminiscent of Blair Waldorf’s preppy Manhattan style.
I think it’s safe to say that this red coat from Topshop is truly the perfect holiday ensemble. It’s festive, stylish and perfect to put over any holiday dress. It’s also just a great statement coat for the warmer winter months. And yes it really does make you feel like you should be on Gossip Girl.
Kate Middleton or should I say the Duchess of Cambridge is living every girl’s dream. Her fairy tale life got even more magical on her recent trip to the Harry Potter set in Hertfordshire. The stylish princess, accompanied by Prince William and Prince Harry, showed off her royal baby bump in a Topshop Polka Dot Skater Dress and classic black Ralph Lauren Blazer. But, the wand was her ultimate accessory.
To make this moment even more amazing, Kate toured Diagon Alley and even received a wand lesson in the Gryffindor Common Room. I wonder if Will and Kate got any nursery ideas from their trip into J. K. Rowling’s fantasy world. I’m sensing/hoping for a Harry Potter theme.
