New Year’s Eve Glam!

New Year’s Eve is all about the glamour! And by glamour I mean a sequined, sparkly glittery outfit topped with a glass of champagne. However, no matter what you’re wearing remember first and foremost to party like it’s 1999, but keep it classy.

New Year's Dress

This glamourous golden look, started with a fab find at Bloomingdale’s. On a whim I picked up this Aqua Gold Metallic Knit Fit & Flare Dress for under $40 and paired it with a French Connection clutch I had decorated with my blog name at New York Fashion Week, my favorite Star Power by Spanx High Waist Shaping Tights (very slimming), my Kendra Scott Naomi Two Finger Ring Adjustable Ring and my Grandmother’s vintage jewelry. To keep up the glam I put on Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick and painted my nails with CND Vinylux Grommet.

A few months ago, I went to the Grand Opening of the Korean jewelry store, J.Estina, at The Plaza Hotel. Though they are predominantly known for their crown designs which are symbols of good luck in Korea, J.Estina, has me seeing hearts with their special Valentine’s Day offer.  Those of you in the New York area can enter to win a J.Estina sterling silver necklace and receive complimentary engraving on your purchase simply by printing the above card, filling it out, and dropping it off at their jewelry boutique at The Plaza.

Here’s some more fun Valentine’s Day shopping ideas from my heart to yours:

J. Estina Launch at The Plaza Hotel

You can always expect the royal treatment at The Plaza Hotel. After all, it was the home of everyone’s favorite spoiled storybook character, Eloise.  Today, I felt a lot like the grown-up Eloise sipping champagne at the Grand Opening of J. Estina at The Shops at The Plaza.  J. Estina is a Korean brand of jewelry and accessories.  It’s mostly costume jewelry, but there is some fine jewelry as well.  There are so many tiaras in the collection because in Korean culture, tiaras are considered good luck. In socialite culture, it’s always lucky to look and feel like a princess. I don’t know about you, but I’d choose being surrounding by tiaras any day over being surrounded by crowds of crazy people at the lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree.

More crowns!
