Over the weekend, my Mom came to visit me in New York. Together we enjoyed two of the first nice days Manhattan has seen in months. After a couple mimosa-filled brunches, we explored The High Line and Central Park. According to my Mom’s Jawbone, we burned tons of calories with all the walking we did. While it’s sad to see a beautiful weekend end, I know there will be many more to come.
Though it still doesn’t feel much like spring in NYC, the season is in full bloom in the store windows with florals, sundresses and bright colors. As much as I love my over the knee boots, I simply can’t wait to trade them in for a pastel pair of heels or some strappy sandals. Whether you’re in the market for a spring neutral or something a little bolder, here are a few of my favorites:
Spring is just around the corner bringing with it warmer days, shorter nights and a new season of style. There’s that time of year in New York when in spite of the fact that there are still a few cold days and nights ahead, you trade in your black winter bag for a brighter spring bag to spend an afternoon seeing Central Park in early bloom. Recently, I took a spring stroll in Central Park with my Dad and I couldn’t help, but shoot tons of pictures of the park in its early spring glory. I only hope this summer isn’t as brutally hot as the last one.
