It may not seem like it at first, but a summer stroll along Central Park South is actually a great way to clear your head. Once you drown out the sea of people, cars and general Midtown craziness, being where the city ends and nature begins is truly amazing. There’s something to be said for the in between. It’s kind of the best of both worlds and that’s where we can find ourselves.
For my summer stroll I wore a dress from Tobi.com, my Levi’s Authentic Trucker Jacket, Betsey Johnson Sunglasses, GiGi New York Catie Crossbody Blackberry Embossed Python Bag and Swedish Hasbeens – Cross Strap Debutant Women’s Sandals.
I know I’ve said this so many times, but Swedish Hasbeens are the ideal shoe for the city in the summer. Wearing flip flops on the streets of Manhattan is gross, it’s too hot to wear closed toe shoes and heels are impossible to walk in. Swedish Hasbeens give you the height you need to stay a safe distance from the city streets without the pain of heels.
