Today, May 12th beginning at noon, bebe is having an awesome promotion going on in stores all across the USA. All you have to do is stop by a participating bebe store anytime after 12 noon, take a picture of yourself in your favorite look (which is always more accurate than a mirror,) and upload it to the bebe Facebook Page for fans to vote on the best look.
Aside from how much I need to go shopping for summer clothes, this contest made me realize just how much any beach-going socialite needs a Vespa in her arsenal of accessories. Not only are they ultra European, but you can hop from place to place quickly as your hair blows in the summer breeze on one of these fab bikes. Though I regret that I have a previous engagement and will not be able to participate in this competition, I trust that the Vespa will go to a very stylish home. In the meantime, I will just have to add the Vespa S 50 4V to the list of items I aspire to own.
Halloween may be a fun excuse to dress up as something else and watch horror films, however, in actually aspiring to greatness is all about faking it until you make it. If there is anything I have learned in my first year residing in NYC, it is that this is a city of perception not of reality. So, here everyday is Halloween.
