Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me Book Signing

Chelsea Handler has inspired me to do three things: to write a book, to have my own show, and to do whatever I want. So far, I have only completed one out of the three, but that’s okay because I’m still young. Yesterday, on the day that was supposed to be the end of the world, but wasn’t, I went to Chelsea Handler’s book signing at Barnes & Noble for her new book Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me. I totally love her show so standing in line for two hours to see her was totally worth it. Perhaps, someday I will write a book and people will stand in line for me.

Had I known that we couldn’t take pictures with Chelsea in the interest of time, I would have just bought the book and forged the signature. However, it was wonderful to finally meet the woman who I watch on TV almost every night, even if it was for just a second. While standing in line, I must have tweeted like 50 times as I brainstormed ways to get to the front of the line. Maybe I should have brought a bottle of Belvedere Vodka with me to give as a gift like her guests do on the show. That would have gotten me to the front of the line for sure, but I will get my chance when I am a guest on the show. As I aspire to reach my socialite destiny, it is only a matter of time as to what E! show picks me up first. Fashion Police and Chelsea Lately are currently the front runners.
